& that’s a wrap on our first summer in Thomaston 🤍

To me, downtown Thomaston has always felt like an old Hollywood movie set. Growing up, the streets were often quiet or empty. It’s quaint, charming and deeply historic. Our claim to fame is the original Maine State Prison & Showroom (the inspiration behind Shawshank Redemption). Iconic!

I have loved watching new businesses bloom and endure here, and it feels like Thomaston has really started to become a destination, and the businesses the fabric of the community. (S/O Crooked Spoon Co., Uproot Pie Co., The Picnic Basket, Periwinkle Needlepoint, FlipSide Coffee, SaltWater Fields Wedding & Event Barn and many more)
