Music - Concerts - Dance - Classes - Lectures

An exciting week of music, song, dance, language, and crafts. Workshops: by Master Teachers from Ireland, the USA, and Canada who dedicate themselves to handing down the skills and nuances of the Irish Tradition. Concerts: Monday-Friday at the MJQ Irish Culture and Sports Centre from 7-9 PM. A World-Class feast of performances open to everybody, and included in the student package. Ceilis: Monday

Nightly Sessions: In the local pubs where the music and banter meet, giving you the experience of a real Irish session.

There’s nothing quite like summer in the Catskills. The Wick and Kelly families treated us to an afternoon of brilliant music and dancing at our Saturday festival. 2026 was a CIAW to remember!

We were so lucky to have Mary Bergin on staff for CIAW 2026! Here she is playing two reels (The Dairy Maid / The Laurel Tree) accompanied by Cara Wildman on bodhran and David McKindley-Ward on bouzouki at the Friday evening concert!

Dylan Foley & Colman Connolly treated us to this classic set at our Wednesday evening concert at the MJQ Irish Cultural Centre. Many folks may know these tunes from the recording of the Tulla Céilí Band: Imelda Roland’s / Cregg’s Pipes.

MIC’D UP CEILI 😅 We mic’d up Mallaidh & Aoibhinn dancing a figure of the Plain Set at the end of the Friday ceili and it was so FUN but so chaos! Teens featured in this set: Eileen, Ronan, Mallaidh, Aoibhinn, Axel, Gavin & Colleen. Hope you enjoy this as much as we did!
