✨🌿 A Fairytale Wedding for Ashley & Mike 🌿✨
Yesterday, Rose Petal Productions had the absolute honor of celebrating the marriage of Ashley & Mike at the most magical, enchanting, Lord of the Rings-inspired wedding—and what a day it was! 💍✨
Ashley, Mike, and I began planning this beautiful celebration together nearly a year ago, and watching everything we envisioned come together so perfectly was incredibly special. And when I say this couple is laid-back, kind, and possesses the most beautiful spirits, I truly mean it. They are, without a doubt, a match made in heaven. ❤️
The wedding took place on the groom’s family’s company property, which proved to be the most breathtaking setting for their rustic fairytale. Beautifully landscaped grounds opened into a wooded backdrop, with groves of trees, a peaceful babbling brook, wildflowers scattered throughout the property, and even the first leaves beginning to fall in early September. It felt as though Middle-earth itself had come alive for their wedding day. 🌿🍂
The couple’s warm, earthy color palette paid beautiful homage to Ashley’s Mexican heritage, incorporating rich browns, terra-cotta, warm peach tones, and natural textures throughout the celebration. The ladies looked absolutely stunning, adorned with dried flowers and gorgeous dried-flower crowns woven into their hair. Everywhere you looked, there were candles, twinkling fairy lights, and warm glowing details that transformed the property into an enchanting woodland wonderland as evening fell. 🕯️✨
We thank Tucker’s Party Rental’s for providing and setting up the tent, tables, chairs and dance floor with white glove service so that our guest could enjoy the evening properly!
💙 A Special Place to Remember Those Who Couldn’t Be There
One of the most touching details of the day was a beautiful photo opportunity and reflection area tucked beneath a peaceful grove of trees, centered around a special blue chair. The chair served as a quiet place for guests to pause, reflect, and remember the loved ones who were unable to be there in person to celebrate Ashley and Mike’s marriage.
The blue chair held an especially meaningful significance, as it was a favorite chair of the groom’s grandmother, who was unable to attend the wedding. Nestled among the trees and surrounded by the natural beauty of the property, it became more than simply a photo opportunity—it was a heartfelt tribute and a beautiful way to keep her presence close on such an important day.
It was a simple yet incredibly thoughtful detail that carried so much meaning and served as a beautiful reminder that even when someone cannot physically be present, their love and memory can still have a place at the celebration. 💙🌿✨
The couple was joined in holy matrimony by the venerable and honorable Shim Bo, a monk and cherished family friend. Their ceremony was filled with meaning and beautiful symbolism. As guests arrived, each person wrote their name and an intention for the couple onto warm-colored ribbons. Those ribbons were then woven together to create a ceremonial handfasting rope for Ashley and Mike to keep as a lasting reminder of the love, blessings, and intentions surrounding them on their wedding day. ❤️
And then there was the FOOD! 🍕🍨☕️
Guests enjoyed an incredible grazing table along with libations from Clocktown Brewery and Litchfield Distillery, followed by dinner from Old World Pizza Truck, who kept everyone happily fed with delicious pizza. And just when everyone thought they couldn’t possibly eat another bite, hand-scooped gelato arrived for dessert!
The sweet treats continued with pumpkin pie cheesecake and hot, fresh Cinnabon cinnamon buns. And to cap off the evening? Espresso and cappuccinos, of course! ☕️
Once the dancing began, DJ Dennis Nardella kept this lively group on the dance floor all night long! And a special thank-you goes to family friend Kelvin, who beautifully captured the evening as the couple’s main photographer. 📸
But there is one moment from this wedding that I will carry with me for a very long time.
In all my years working in the event industry, this was the first time I actually cried watching a bride walk down the aisle. There was something about seeing Ashley in that moment—surrounded by the people she loves, walking toward the person she chose to spend her life with—that completely got me. She was absolutely breathtaking.
And beyond being a beautiful bride, Ashley is genuinely one of the most wonderful people I have had the privilege of working with.
What started as a client relationship nearly a year ago has turned into something I value even more: a friendship. I am truly honored to say that I have found a friend in both Ashley and Mike, and I am so grateful they trusted me to be part of such an important chapter in their lives. ❤️
And, of course, I could never do what I do without my incredible Rose Petal Productions team. I am endlessly proud of the amazing staff who stand beside me, work tirelessly behind the scenes, and help turn our couples’ dreams into reality. This wedding was truly a team effort, and I am so grateful for each and every one of you. 🌹
Ashley & Mike, thank you for allowing Rose Petal Productions to be part of your fairytale. Your wedding was filled with love, laughter, intention, family, friendship, and just the right amount of magic. ✨
Cheers to Ashley & Mike, to their beautiful wedding day, to a lifetime of adventures together—and to FOREVER. 🥂💍🌿
With love,
Rose Petal Productions 🌹
