After much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend operations of Legacy Transports.
When we purchased Legacy Transports, it was with the intention of helping some close friends through a season of life while also preserving and growing a business that had become well known in our community. Since taking ownership, we have worked hard to bring the buses, operations, and overall customer experience up to the standards we believe our clients deserve, while also maintaining strict compliance with all state and federal transportation regulations.
As many know, the transportation industry has changed drastically over the last few years. Rising fuel costs, maintenance expenses, regulatory requirements, and especially commercial insurance premiums have made it increasingly difficult to offer the level of service we expect at an hourly rate that remains practical for our local market.
Rather than lower our standards or operate in a manner that does not meet our expectations, we have chosen to step back, reevaluate, and conduct a full market and operational analysis to determine the best path forward. Our hope is to restructure Legacy Transports in the future in a way that allows us to provide a premium, compliant, and sustainable service to this area.
We truly appreciate every customer who trusted us for weddings, parties, special events, and nights out. Your support has meant a great deal.
For customers who currently have reservations booked, an email will be sent shortly with instructions regarding the refund of all deposits.
