Last year I took a chance on my dream…
I was clocking into a job I hated, pouring my energy into something that wasn’t mine, dealing with fake people who made every day harder than it needed to be. And one day I decided if I was already being treated like that bitch, I might as well be that bitch for myself.
So I quit, and I bet on me.
Honesty, the timing was kind of wild. Joann’s was going out of business just as mine was getting started, so I grabbed what I could, built what I didn’t have, and kept going.
I spent late nights planning, early mornings sourcing, and every spare dollar investing back into this vision. I taught myself as I went, learned through trial and error, and showed up even when it was uncomfortable, exhausting, or scary. I put real time, real effort, and real love into building something that felt like me.
One year of picnics. One year of dreaming out loud.
Thank you to every single person who trusted me with your moments, your milestones, your dates, your birthdays, your friendships, and your celebrations. Thank you for choosing my small business, for showing up with open hearts, and for letting me be the fairy hobbit hybrid I was meant to be!
I’m endlessly grateful and so excited for what’s next. Thank you for one beautiful year of picnics and for being part of this journey with me. ✨🧺🧚🏾♀️🫶🏾
