I live in the Tampa Bay area with my wonderful husband, Colt and our three children. We like to think of ourselves as a pretty creative family, as my husband Colt is a musician working all around Tampa. You can check out his music at www.coltclark.com. Yes, that was a shameless plug. I graduated from the University of South Florida with my degree in Psychology at which time I began to explore my c
areer options. I was having a hard time finding a job in the corporate world that would allow me to use my creative side. I've always been interested in photography, but I really discovered my passion when I began taking "artsy" pictures of my husband at his gigs. I shared some of my photos with friends and family, and soon I began getting calls to take pictures for events and portrait sessions. At that time I exhausted the job search and decided it was time to turn my favorite hobby into a business. The best part of my job is I can honestly say I love it. I realize the rarity of this statement, and I dont take it for granted. I love the photo sessions, editing my work and best of all, hearing how much my clients love their pictures. One of my favorite quotes by Ansel Adams is, " There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer." There is a little bit of myself in every picture I take. My mission statement of sorts is to take pictures with the quality, creativity and originality that I would want taken of myself.
