🚨 CORPUS CHRISTI PARENTS & COMMUNITY — THIS IS GETTING BIGGER. 🚨

As more families come forward, new concerns are being raised that deserve independent review — not silence.

📚 ACADEMIC PLACEMENT & STUDENT SUPPORTS

We are now hearing concerns involving students with 504 Plans and/or IEPs, including questions about:

⚠️ How students are being academically tracked and placed into classes
⚠️ Whether placement decisions are based on students’ actual educational needs
⚠️ Whether required accommodations and educational plans are being consistently followed
⚠️ How scholarship funding for students requiring additional supports is being administered

These are concerns and allegations that need to be investigated — not conclusions we are asking anyone to blindly accept.

That is exactly why I am formally requesting that the organizations responsible for the accreditation and oversight of Corpus Christi Catholic School in Temple Terrace review what is happening.

🔎 ACCOUNTABILITY IS NOT AN ATTACK.

If everything is being done appropriately, an independent review should demonstrate that.

If it isn’t, our children deserve for it to be corrected.

I am asking parents, former parents, teachers, former employees, and community members:

📣 If you have firsthand information, documentation, emails, screenshots, policies, or experiences that may be relevant, PLEASE SPEAK UP.

You do not have to argue on Facebook. You do not have to participate in rumors. Bring facts. Bring documentation. Ask questions.

Our children deserve transparency.
Our families deserve answers.
And an accredited school should be able to demonstrate that it is meeting the standards its accreditation represents.

✝️ This is about accountability, protection, and making our school community better.

📣 **CORPUS CHRISTI PARENTS — WE WANT ANSWERS.**

At last night’s parent meeting, I came prepared to ask questions about decisions affecting our children, our families, and our ability to participate in our school community.

**I attempted to ask those questions, and I was shut down.**

But ending the conversation does not answer the questions.

Parents invest their time, money, energy, and trust into this school community. We volunteer. We fundraise. We attend events. We support our teachers and our children. We deserve respectful communication and clear answers when we ask how decisions affecting our families are being made.

# # # âť“ SOME OF THE QUESTIONS WE ARE ASKING:

• Where are the opportunities for parents to complete their required volunteer hours?

• Why have some traditional opportunities for parent involvement become limited or unavailable?

• Are parents currently permitted to serve as field-trip chaperones? If participation has been restricted, why and who made that decision?

• How are homeroom parents and other parent volunteers selected?

• What policies determine which parents may participate in classrooms, field trips, athletics, school events, and student activities?

• How are coaching and athletic positions filled, and what qualifications or process are used when choosing coaches?

• Who has authority to make these decisions?

• How and when are policy or procedural changes communicated to parents?

• Why have some emails, questions, and requests for meetings gone unanswered?

• What is the proper process for a parent to raise a concern and receive an actual response?

**And what other questions do YOU have?**

# # # đź’° AND WHERE IS THE MONEY GOING?

Our families are repeatedly asked to donate, participate in fundraisers, attend the Gala, purchase items, solicit donations and sponsorships, and financially support the school.

**Parents deserve to understand where that money goes.**

• How much money is raised each year through Parent Club fundraising?

• How much is raised through the Gala and other major fundraising events?

• Where are those funds allocated?

• How much goes toward the school's general operating budget versus specific projects?

• When money is raised or donated for a particular purpose, how can parents see that it was used for that purpose?

• What projects have Parent Club fundraising dollars paid for during the last several school years?

• Who decides how Parent Club funds are spent?

• What financial reports are provided to Parent Club members and school families?

• Are parents able to review an annual accounting showing money raised, expenses paid, transfers to the school, and remaining balances?

**These are not accusations. They are reasonable questions about transparency and stewardship.**

Our families give an extraordinary amount of time, effort, and money to support Corpus Christi. We should be able to see what that generosity accomplishes.

**Where is the money going? What has it funded? And how are those decisions being made?**

# # # 🛑 ANOTHER CONVERSATION HAS NOW EMERGED: BULLYING

Bullying was **not part of the questions I attempted to raise at last night’s meeting.** However, since then, parents have raised additional concerns and questions about bullying—and those questions deserve a place in this conversation too.

Parents are asking:

• What is the school's current bullying policy?

• What happens when a student or parent reports bullying?

• How are reports documented and investigated?

• When are parents notified?

• What protections and support are provided to the child reporting the behavior?

• What follow-up occurs to determine whether the behavior has stopped?

• How were bullying concerns raised during the previous school year addressed?

• What can be done differently when a family believes a concern has not been adequately resolved?

# # # đź’¬ THIS IS WHY WE CREATED THIS GROUP.

This is **not about attacking Corpus Christi, its teachers, administration, clergy, or our faith community.**

Many of us care deeply about this school. **That is exactly why these conversations matter.**

Parents should be able to ask questions without fear of being dismissed or shut down. We should be able to respectfully compare experiences, identify concerns, propose solutions, and advocate for our children.

If you have had a concern you didn't know where to take…

If you have asked a question and never received an answer…

If you have an idea for making our school community stronger…

Or if you simply believe parents deserve a voice…

**JOIN THE DISCUSSION.**

📲 **The WhatsApp QR code is included in the image attached to this post. Scan it to join the parent discussion group.**

Bring your questions.
Bring your experiences.
Bring your ideas.

**WE WANT COMMUNICATION.
WE WANT TRANSPARENCY.
WE WANT ACCOUNTABILITY.
WE WANT ANSWERS.**

Please share this post with other Corpus Christi families who may want to participate.

**Our goal isn't conflict. Our goal is answers—and a stronger school community for our children.**
