It’s your wedding. You and your partner can decide who gets the invite. You want people there that have made an effort to know who you are as a couple. Details such as your fur babies. More people means more plates of food which requires a bigger budget.

When you look back on your special day, you’ll want to remember people who were intentionally chosen to attend instead of guests invited out of politeness. As a recovering people pleaser, I know this is harder said than done 😅

As an official full time event planner, I wanted to reintroduce myself! 💗

I’ve worn many hats over the years (eldest daughter, sister, millennial, student, educator, Girl Scout, fiction reader, crier, chai drinker, goofy goober) but the core of me was always there—I’m a person who clings to joy & finds any reason to celebrate 🎉

These last two years have been filled with getting to know new clients (who’ve turned into friends) and planning every kind of event from non profit fundraising galas to weddings and even staff appreciation events.

My stomach dropped thinking about it being August next week. I felt like I was running out of time & wasting my summer, dreading signs of fall.

But after working through that knee jerk reaction, I eventually dusted off my vision board & revisited my bingo card. There were so many tasks that not only changed, but also I had already completed! I hadn’t taken the time to celebrate my victories and the promises I made to myself in Jan. I very much needed that realignment and the reassurance that I am living my life the way I want to. Now I am one square away from my first bingo of the year & cannot be more excited to get more checked off!

Thinking about my vision board workshop friends today & sending extra love for the season you are in 💗💗
