At the start of 2026 we began the process of recreating our business card concept from scratch.

From the start of Anime Night’s history in 2022 — the “YuGiOh” promo card was part of it’s promotion, but as the brand expanded, we wanted to be able to improve the quality of the card.

From local print shops to Shuffled Ink, a company that specializes in custom card creation, we were able to recreate the the YuGiOh card concept as closely as possible capturing the feel and look of the original cards for our newest business card.

We’re excited to welcome Queen K. Lee to Anime Night Buffalo next Friday at as one of our featured cosplay guests, appearing as Usagi Tsukino from Sailor Moon!

Born and raised in Buffalo, Queen K. Lee has been cosplaying since 2012 with a strong focus on dance and performance. Over the years, she’s been involved in various K-pop and J-pop dance groups and projects, helping shape a performance style that blends cosplay, music, and stage presence together in a way that feels perfect for Anime Night.

She’s also an award-winning cosplayer and performer, most recently earning 2nd place in the performance category at both Tora-Con 2026 and UBCon 2026, along with Best Walk-On at KinshoukuCon 2025. With a love for magical girl and idol anime like Sailor Moon, Madoka Magica, and Love Live—alongside classics like One Piece, Soul Eater, and Fullmetal Alchemist—we couldn’t think of a better fit for Anime Night Buffalo.

“The night is still long. Why not enjoy yourself a little more?” 🌙

We’re excited to welcome Emu of .inc to Anime Night - Buffalo THIS Friday at the incredible Buffalo Ironworks as she joins us as Jinshi from The Apothecary Diaries!

Emu has been cosplaying for over 10 years—turning a passion for anime and costume creation into a path toward a professional career in costume construction for theatre. Currently studying theatre production and design in college, she continues to grow her craft through sewing, makeup artistry, and wig styling, all of which shine through in the work she brings to the cosplay community.

One of our favorite parts of Emu’s story is that Emu Studios originally began with her and her mom making cosplays together, something they’ve continued doing ever since. That love for creativity and craftsmanship is exactly what makes cosplay culture so special. While her love for anime really began to grow after watching JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, we’re incredibly excited to see her bring the elegant and mysterious Jinshi to our event!

We can’t wait to see her take on one of recent anime’s most beloved characters, and we’re just as excited to see all of your cosplays as well. Planning to cosplay at our event? Ace and his crew are pulling back up to Anime Night this Friday at Buffalo Ironworks!

is Buffalo’s Black Geek collective that hold events and spaces for pop-culture fanhoods to create, network, and bond over common interests. Every event is themed around fictional media and trending ideas, with room for both entertainment and learning. Fans of comic books, anime, fantasy, music, performance art, and related realms of education come together to socialize and exchange.

We’re thrilled to have our friends back in Buffalo with plenty of surprises in store. They’ll be there with a full table to tell you all about the amazing event spaces that they’re creating here in this city.
