🎉 Happy 3rd Birthday to The Piñata Mama! 🪅💜

Three years ago today, I took a leap of faith and opened a little business built from creativity, late nights, and a whole lot of heart. I never imagined just how many birthdays, baby showers, graduations, holidays, and special moments I’d get to be a part of.

Every piñata I’ve made has carried a little piece of me with it, and every order has reminded me that supporting a small business is about so much more than a purchase—it’s believing in someone’s dream.

To every customer who has ordered, shared my page, recommended me to a friend, left a kind review, or cheered me on from the sidelines… thank you. Because of you, The Piñata Mama is celebrating three incredible years today.

Here’s to the memories we’ve helped create, the smiles we’ve seen, and all the celebrations still to come and for turning paper, glue and imagination into memories that last a lifetime! I truly can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Today we celebrate 250 years of freedom, courage, perseverance, and the generations of Americans who helped shape the country we call home.

As a small business built around bringing families together to celebrate life’s biggest moments, I’m especially grateful for the freedom to create, dream, and do what I love. Every custom piñata I make is handcrafted with heart, and I’m so thankful for each and every one of you who has supported this little dream of mine.

Since there are quite a few new faces here (and probably some old followers who only know me as “the piñata Mama” 😂), I figured I should properly introduce myself.

Hi, I’m Brittany — the heart, hands, hot glue burns, and tissue paper mess behind The Piñata Mama. 🪅

I’m a stay-at-home mama to two wild and wonderful kiddos, wife to the hardest working man I know, and someone whose brain is constantly overflowing with creative ideas at approximately 2 AM.

When I’m not making piñatas, you can usually find me:
🌻 Working in my gardens
📚 Reading
🪴 Propagating plants
🎨 Covered in craft supplies
🚜 Living the chaotic homestead/farmette life
🛍️ Thrifting treasures
📚 Reading or Listening to 4-5 books at a time
😂 Trying to survive motherhood with humor intact

The Piñata Mama started because I’ve always loved creating things that make people smile and help turn ordinary moments into memories families will hold onto forever.

There’s just something magical to me about birthdays and celebrations — the excitement, the decorations, the laughter, the kids running around hyped up on cake and candy, and of course… the absolute destruction of a piñata. 😂

This page is more than just a business to me. It’s creativity, community, chaos, color, and a little piece of my heart.

This special piñata was for my nephew, Benny’s 8th Birthday on Sunday!

Do you want to know another cool fact about Benny?

He and I have a bit of a bond…we both were born on November 2nd!
I love that I get to share my birthday with him since my own son couldn’t come on my birthday and instead shares a birthday with his Nana which is November 6th! It’s pretty awesome that I got to share my pregnancy with my sister and that our boys are born 4 days apart and both are 8 years old!

On behalf of my family & myself, we’d like to take a second to thank all of the amazing first responders we have here in our community and across the world for the selfless & amazing work that they do.

This day is really important to me because I come from a long line of first responders (mainly firefighters & law enforcement, ranging from my husband, Step Dad, brother & uncles and lots & lots of friends) however, no matter their job whether they are professional or volunteer, all of them are important and serve our communities.

So today, October 28th, 2025, every year, we celebrate first responders day & would like to send out our heartfelt thank you to all first responders.

🎀✨ Did you guess Skye?! ✨🎀

If you saw the silhouette sneak peek earlier from a few posts earlier, — you were right! 🐾

After many hours of designing, cutting, painting, and matching colors just right, I finally had the joy of delivering this adorable Skye piñata to her new home for one amazing little girl’s birthday celebration!

Every detail — from the hand-painted eyes to the custom collar tag — was made with so much love. And the best part? 💡 The Skye design on the front is attached with Velcro, so it can be removed and kept as a special keepsake long after the party is over! (Shoutout to my amazing nephew, sister, and brother-in-law for inspiring that idea — my nephews always wanted to save their piñata fronts, and I loved turning that into a real feature!) 🥹💖

We’re so thankful to have been part of this sweet girl’s special day, and we hope this piñata brought smiles, laughter, and so much joy to her celebration. 🎉
