I love rescuing plants from clearance. They are often dehydrated and dying, but if there are any spots of green at the base there are signs of life. I rescued this baby verbascum a few weeks ago and with some pruning, root trimming, fertilizing and planting it is now blooming! I know with love and care this pretty perennial will come back strong next season. Plants are awesome.
