He planned one surprise. I planned 2.

This one was SO much fun to plan.

He wanted to surprise his girlfriend with a proposal at the park and while we were making sure every detail was in place for that moment, I was also working behind the scenes on a second surprise.

His parents were flying in from Scotland.

Planning a surprise takes a lot of communication, coordination, and trust, but the key is making sure that communication stays with the people who truly need to know.

Too many people in on the secret? The surprise is over.

Once the proposal happened, we brought them back to the house where family and friends were waiting to surprise them both.

There were tears, hugs, food, drinks, laughter, and one very happy, newly engaged couple.

The tables aren’t just furniture. They’re part of the experience.
