So, tonight went the opposite of how we wanted things to go down.

KAROAKE was the plan tonight mixed with our usual dance music. We got the systems and everything but nothing would work. On top of that, the mixing board that is pretty much vital to have any sounds go to our PA had a very bad cord that started sparking. We had to switch to a board that’s used for live music and barely worked for DJing.

The beginning of the night was nothing short of a nightmare, but at around 10:30pm, we got the music going, and we got the dancing going.

If there is one thing I learned in the industry, is that you make it work, no matter what. We may not have had karoake but we made sure the playlist was hot.

We will be back at the Corner on 3/15 to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. We will be more prepared and have a big city style night club vibe in a small town bar. We will make it better ❤️
