Whether you're the bride, bridesmaid or groom, getting ready for your wedding day can be an overwhelming experience. Here are my top self-care tips for looking and feeling your best:
Start early - plan ahead by making sure to schedule any appointments or treatments, such as mani’s/pedi’s, facials, waxing, and tanning well in advance.
Exercise regularly – regular exercise helps keep us physically fit and also boosts our mental health which is important when coping with wedding day stressors.
Take time out - take a few minutes each day to relax and unwind with a calming activity like yoga or meditation. This will help keep you centered and balanced throughout this busy time in your life.
Pamper yourself - don’t forget to give yourself some TLC amidst all the wedding craziness! Indulge in a hot bubble bath, pamper night, or spa treatment with friends to de-stress before your wedding day arrives. 🛀
Get enough sleep – make sure to log 7-8 hours of sleep each night leading up to the big day – fatigue will only add unnecessary stress on top of all the excitement! 💤
