We are so excited to be partnering with St. Marys Georgia Mainstreet for an amazing family focused St Patrick’s Day Midtown Block Party this weekend!

This is an event like no other! We are the only kids market in our surrounding area & they work around the clock to bring their community the most unique shopping experience! These kids gain so much by doing these markets, but it only works if they have YOU to help them.

So please stop by and take a second of your day to talk with them! They love when customers ask questions and engage with them & their products!

We will have such a big variety, you’re sure to find something for everyone (even the dogs have something to participate in) 🤪

Do you know a kiddo who has a hobby they’ve perfected? Or a kid that loves to bake? Look no further, our markets are just for them! 🎉

A Kids Entrepreneurs Market started ONE YEAR AGO because our local youth are so talented and had no where to showcase it! We wanted to bring something positive to our community for our youth to look forward to participating in!

Of course earning money is exciting and rewarding, these children learn so much more! Each market has different life skills to offer. They are learning everything from communication & social skills, the value of money, how to price things, budgeting, time management, decision making, patience, manners, and most importantly they get to have good, clean fun with likeminded peers!

As for us (the grown ups) it’s so precious to see the confidence boost this gives the kids. To watch them evolve and learn necessary life and business skills while also teaching them the importance of supporting small businesses at a young age!

🏫 HAPPY APPLE ACADEMY 📚 🙏🏼

If you are looking for a part time, private preschool for your babies (ages 2-5) look no further! I PROMISE happy apple is the right choice. I (Kalyn) personally checked into all the local schools before deciding on this one and I am so thankful I followed my heart! They are having Open Registration for the 2025-2026 school year THIS Friday, February 28. They have multiple classes for the separate ages. 

I just wanted to share from personal experience. My son, Ronin, went there for two years before heading into kindergarten at public school.  Ronin tested straight into a first grade reading level. The teachers and staff at his elementary school have been blown away by his level of education coming from Happy Apple. This year he is in first grade and is in gifted classes.

Now baby sister, Kali, is there for her first year and we love it just as much! In fact, we love it so much that we have decided to opt out of the pre-K lottery and continue one more year at Happy Apple instead next year.

You can’t go wrong with any of the teachers and I could ramble for days at how amazing the director herself is.  You know they are there for the right reasons when the director is also a teacher with her own classroom full of kids too!  My son was blessed to be in her class his last year and we are so thankful for her.

Key points as a mom that I appreciate & maybe some of you will too:

1) the school is SAFE. They allow you to tour it before hand. The school is LOCKED during school hours. The playground is gated.

2) the kids still have time with family after school. The school only runs from 9 AM to noon. So the kids get three solid hours of education and social interaction and then they get to come home and spend time with their family and friends.  That type of balance is so important at this age. 

3) They treat the kids like their own. Every day they have a small snack and drink break. Every day (weather depending) they play outside. They don’t learn from screens. They focus on play learning. Lots of teaching songs that are so precious.

4) This one may ruffle some feathers but necessary to talk about..it is Christian based but not Christian focused. I was “concerned” that they would be learning more about the Bible than actual school education, but that’s so far from the truth. The balance they give these kids is astonishing.

5) It’s setting them up for longer days at school away from you.  if you’re anything like me and have “velcro” babies, this was a major adjustment. I had never even left my kids with a babysitter prior to attending Happy Apple.  The staff as a WHOLE makes that adjustment a lot less stressful.  they all come together to make sure your child is the most comfortable. 

While parents don’t have the same volunteering opportunities that you do at public school for older kids. They still make their parents feel included the best they can. They do class parent group chats & will send pictures throughout the day. And they do school events that family and friends are invited to attend a couple times a year.  They even do themed holiday parties in the classroom for the kids. The kids bring home crafts and “schoolwork” every week to show you what they’ve been working on & learning.

I could go on and on, but that was some of the key things that led me to Happy Apple. 🍎

Maybe it’ll be the right choice for your family too! 🙏🏼 If you’re on the fence, I strongly encourage you to just go up there early Friday and talk to someone in person and ask whatever questions you may have and be prepared to make your decision there on the spot because these classes WILL fill up and there WILL be a waitlist!

A few of you were asking for our photographers info today, she doesn’t have business cards quite yet but she does have a business Instagram set up for anyone who wants to follow Layla and book a session! 🥰

She’s a local teen with a passion for photography! She’s just starting out but her work is already incredible 🥰
