After Colorado tied the game in the eighth, St. Louis answered right back with a three-run bottom half, highlighted by Wetherholt’s go-ahead two-run double and Iván Herrera’s RBI single to cap a four-hit day.
Alec Burleson added his 19th home run, Jordan Walker and Masyn Winn both drove in runs, and the Cardinals finished with 14 hits in a 7-4 win over the Rockies.
That’s a winner.
