Amber Kinder reminds us of the creative fire that ignites when we are seen and accepted for who we are—in all our explorations of self.

It may also be said that when others share what our art means to them, we begin to see them too.

That exchange of lived experiences—that mirror—that moment of “I see you”—is where the power of art lives. It’s where connection, community, and authenticity begin.

✨ Whose art has helped you feel understood? Tag them and send them some love

"I’m starting to realize just how much customers are searching for something with a soul, made with love, in addition to being well crafted and well designed. If it looks like everything else you can buy in a store, why do it?"

Anthony Heinemann ()

People are craving more than just good design, they want work made with heart and intention. When something carries soul, it connects on a deeper level.

Dakota Erickson () is a Saskatchewan raised feminist visual artist whose work reclaims and redefines the female experience through a bold, unapologetic lens. Currently completing her BFA at the University of Regina, Dakota’s art investigates themes of girlhood, femininity, and the portrayal of women in Western art and culture.

Her piece Girlhood #2 uses materials often associated with traditional femininity like glitter glue and collage to subvert expectations and provoke new conversations around identity, beauty, and power.
