✨ LOOKING FOR A FAUX CAKE FOR A STYLED PHOTOSHOOT 🎂📸

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a local baker, cake decorator, or creative who can make a beautiful faux/display cake for a professional styled photoshoot I’m putting together for Reinvented Events on September 30th.

I’ve attached an inspiration photo of the style I’m looking for. 🤍

The vision is:
🌸 Soft ivory/cream base
🌸 Blush pink piped florals
🌿 Delicate green botanical details
✨ Subtle pearl details
🎂 Romantic, garden-inspired, elegant feel

The cake does not need to be edible, it will strictly be used as a styling piece for the photoshoot.

I am absolutely open to paying for the cake, so please send me your pricing if this is something you create.

The shoot will be done by a professional photographer, and if you’re a baker/decorator looking to build your portfolio, I’m also happy to credit and tag your business when the photos are shared and provide professional images featuring your work for you to use in your own marketing, with photographer credit.

A little behind-the-scenes look at what event planning actually looks like. 🦋💜

I’ve been playing with tablescapes for the upcoming Purple Butterfly Tea Party, and I’m loving watching all of the little details start to come together.

For this design, I’m experimenting with layers of lavender and soft pink, vintage-inspired teacups, gold details, delicate florals, and plenty of texture. I especially love using the teacups as floral arrangements, they add that whimsical tea-party feeling without making the table feel overly formal.

This is one of my favorite parts of planning: setting everything up, moving pieces around, changing heights, adjusting colors, and seeing how the design feels together before event day. Sometimes what looks perfect in my head needs a little tweaking once it’s actually on the table—and that’s exactly why I do mockups like this.

The goal for this party is to make an 8-year-old and her friends feel like they’ve stepped into their own little butterfly garden tea party. 🫖🌸🦋

And this is only the table… I can’t wait to see the entire design come together on party day!

✨ Meet Your Planner ✨

Hi! I’m Jessica, the owner and event planner behind Reinvented Events.

I’ve always loved bringing people together. In fact, my passion for planning started when I hosted my very first dinner party at just 14 years old. That love for creating meaningful experiences never left me—it simply grew into the business I have today.

Before launching Reinvented Events, I worked as an Executive Assistant for a web developer. That role taught me the importance of organization, communication, problem-solving, and staying calm when things don’t go according to plan. Those skills have become the foundation of how I serve every client.

One of the things that truly sets my business apart is my signature 5 Senses Method. My inspiration came from an unexpected place—my daughter. Learning about sensory processing through her autism diagnosis changed the way I think about events. I realized that the most memorable celebrations aren’t just beautiful; they engage the senses and create moments that people genuinely remember. Every event I design is thoughtfully planned around sight, sound, scent, taste, and touch to create an experience that’s both intentional and unforgettable.

When I’m not planning events, you’ll usually find me camping with my husband, Chris, and our kids. Those weekends remind me why celebrations matter so much—they’re about making memories with the people you love.

One thing people often tell me after meeting me is that I wasn’t what they expected. I’m completely covered in tattoos, and while my appearance sometimes catches people off guard, they quickly discover someone who is genuinely kind, easy to talk to, and incredibly passionate about creating exceptional events. I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, cared for, and excited throughout the planning process.

This November, we’ll be heading to Wedding MBA in Las Vegas! The largest wedding industry conference in the world! 💍✈️

Over the course of the conference, we’ll be learning from some of the industry’s top professionals, discovering the latest wedding trends, exploring innovative planning and design techniques, and bringing back fresh ideas to better serve our couples here in Springfield and the surrounding area.

One of the things I’m most excited about is earning my Wedding MBA Certification! This will pair great with my QC Luxury Event Certificate! Continuing my education is incredibly important to me because I believe my clients deserve a planner who is always learning, growing, and staying ahead of the industry.

Every class, workshop, and connection we make is an investment in creating even more beautiful, organized, and unforgettable celebrations for our clients.

Hey there! My name is Jessica, lead planner and head creative behind Reinvented Events!

I’m looking to connect with a friendly, creative photographer who would be interested in a portfolio-building collaboration!

I’m an event planner and have a beautifully styled event happening on Saturday, September 5th in Springfield, MO. Specifically, a Butterfly themed Tea Party!

I’m looking for someone available from approximately 3:30 PM–4:30 PM to capture the event setup before guests arrive. The focus would be on the décor, tablescapes, details, and overall design, not the party itself. No need to worry about capturing guests in any photos.
