12 years ago, I was 24 years old and had no idea the career that was ahead of me filled with hard work, persistence and immense reward. Today on my birthday, I just want to take a second to thank all of the amazing couples who believed in us, the vendors who supported us and my close friends and family who have had grace for the sacrificed holidays and weekends understanding I was building something that needed time. Today on my 36th birthday, I want nothing. I just want to say, Thank you 💕✨🌸 Thank you for supporting this dream!!

I hope that when you choose,
that you take your time,
understanding that a good thing cannot and should not be rushed.
Sure weddings are great, beautiful and flashy. The honeymoon stage is enamoring and blissful, but you need someone who is going to continue to choose YOU everyday until your very last “I do.” Someone who is going to be your best friend, someone who isn’t going to leave when the going gets tough because trust me, it does.
Many things will come from the outside looking to rock your marriage boat. Circumstances prove that life can be utterly difficult, whose going to hold your hand when you get sick, are you going to hold their hand?
Are you going to place your spouse over other family members and now allow jealousy in, will you choose someone who would do the same for you?
Death in the families, sicknesses, bills, trials, temptations will happily knock on the door of your marriage looking to tear down the walls you’ve worked so hard to build.
Are you willing to work together when those things fall apart?
Are you willing to choose that person EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. even when you aren’t feeling it?
Are you going to keep Christ in your marriage?

So when you choose, take your time. Soak that decision in prayer and never rush a good thing. Beauty like this doesn’t come overnight, it’s built daily and for years, find someone willing to build with you.

You stay up late going round and round with ideas, picturing what the day will look like and several “what if’s”. But to be honest, nothing can prepare you for what this day is like. Brides say it feels like a dream. Some say they felt it go by so fast. We love to tell our clients to stop and take a look around. What do you see? Every so often, be intentional about taking in what’s happening around you to create a memory out of a moment. Yes, the day goes by fast! But if you are intentional, you’ll walk away with memories that will stay with you for a lifetime.

LINES. You know~ the #weddingperfectionist kind. LINES are what we attempt to achieve at every wedding! After our team has finished placing out all decor, we go back to each table AS A TEAM and perfect the lines around the table. This includes the flatware, the location of the charger, the goblet, the napkin and paper stock. We even must agree the centerpiece is actually centered perfectly before moving on to the next table. In our years of watching decor companies come and go, doing quick set ups and disappearing before you know it, we have trained our team to do the OPPOSITE. Every inch will be inspected to perfection! After all, you’ve invested so much for this perfect day to come to life. You and your guests deserve #weddingdayperfection Period. 🖤

I seriously had the greatest vendor team this past Sunday. There’s some weddings when I’m able to take a few moments capturing footage for IG later, and then some weddings when I’m just RUNNING left/right and needing to be in multiple places at once. I shared with @jim.monroe from @monroeweddingfilms how I wish I could be capturing more and he offered to go snag a few of the reception details for me. I almost said no because I didn’t want to trouble him, but then an appreciative YES PLEASE came out of my mouth lol~ and guys just look at what he captured! I was totally blown away when I saw what he sent! Thank you so much, Jim!! That was so very kind of you! Wishing you all the best with your new/exciting adventure ☺️

In case you were wondering, this is my best friend, Stacy. Her mom in the photo, Mrs. Debra, is like another momma to me! It was so beautiful being apart of this special day with such special people I love and adore. You guessed it! I was her MOH. I called upon my closest vendor friends to help bring their day to life! One of those amazing vendors was @sunnyhairandmakeup. Cricket did her hair and my goodness, it turned out gorgeous!! This is a day that we will all hold so precious to our hearts 💕
