There’s something extra special about planning an event for someone you love.
Planning my best friend’s baby shower from hundreds of miles away was definitely a labor of love. As an event planner, I’m used to thinking about every little detail — the colors, the setup, the flow, the tiny touches people may not always notice — but this one was different because it was personal.
Even from long distance, I wanted to make sure everything felt intentional, beautiful, warm, and completely her. Every detail mattered to me because she matters to me.
There were phone calls, messages, lists, last-minute adjustments, and plenty of “make sure this is exactly right” moments, but seeing everything come together made every single second worth it.
The room was beautiful. The love was everywhere. And watching my best friend be celebrated as she prepares to welcome her sweet baby was one of those moments I’ll always hold close to my heart.
This is why I love what I do. Event planning isn’t just about making things pretty — it’s about creating moments, memories, and spaces where people can feel how loved they truly are.
And for my best friend? I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
A beautiful day for a beautiful mama and her little honey on the way.
congratulations again, Besty. You’re gonna make an amazing mom 🫶🏽🍼💓
