What i did since Discover purpose last night....
I call it "Sharing Gods love through the healing power of Art!"
Art has always been my love, my getaway, my relaxation, eases my mind, kills anxiety, and leaves depression at the door.... at least for a while!
Lately,Sun City Church - Spokane Valleychanges and constant pain, lack of much needed provision and all these plans in my head to try to better my life, but better yet, others too! Art, created by our Heavenly Father, could only be use for good, because he is good. I have wanted to find ways to share this gift any way possible.... what better way than to show others the glory of something that cant be wrong! You dont have to be an artist, heck, it doesnt even have to be "good"... it just has to transform you to that place of relaxation and curiosity!
I plan to do a lot more of do many different projects and get Kristy's Kreations LLC custom art snd mobile paint parties up and running soon!
School starts @ SFCC next week and I'm already in an smazing small group at Sun City Church - Spokane Valley. So parties will be slow at first (depending on the need & excitement to create)!
I read this and loved it!!
“Tell all the skilled workers to whom I have given wisdom in such matters that they are to make garments for Aaron, for his consecration, so he may serve me as priest.” Exodus 28:3 NIV
In this passage of scripture, God is giving Moses instructions. God explains that He’s the one who gives people a skill and the wisdom to use it properly. This verse gives us helpful insight into people’s natural talents and things that they enjoy doing.
Moses was speaking to skilled craftsmen who were gifted by God to create garments. These aren’t just normal clothes.
The priestly garments that Aaron wore were nothing short of a work of art. Other verses in Exodus chapter 28 tell us that Aaron's robes were woven together with the finest linens and different colored yarns.
There were engraved stones, cords of fabric, and gold woven in. The task of making this was a challenge fit only for these artists who had the wisdom of the Lord.
This scripture also shows us how we should use the artistic gifts that God gives us. The artists could’ve used their skills for their benefit and created their own eccentric robes rather than the priests.
Instead, the Lord calls them to utilize their skill to help and serve others. We should look for opportunities to use our talents in the service of others.
