A huge thank you to Starkidz After School Program & Summer Camp for inviting us out for Farmers Week! We had such a wonderful time meeting everyone and sharing our animal friends with your campers.

One of the best additions to our little farm family has been the “Turk Turks” 🦃🤍

When we first added them, we had no idea just how much personality they would have. At home, they follow Mom around like little puppy dogs, always wanting to know what she’s doing and hoping for a snack along the way.

They’ve quickly become one of our favorite parts of the petting zoo, too. While many people have seen turkeys from a distance, very few have ever had the opportunity to interact with one up close. It’s so much fun watching children (and adults!) learn that turkeys are curious, social, and full of personality.

Being able to introduce families to animals they might not otherwise get the chance to meet is one of our favorite parts of what we do, and these silly little turkeys have certainly helped us do just that. 🦃🥹
