Steve was introduced to me by Beth Reynolds, and from the moment we met, he became an invaluable source of guidance and encouragement.

When I needed advice, Steve always made himself available. He helped me pick out the perfect commercial smoker and connected me with his equipment specialist, who expertly fitted Sentie’s Kitchen. He even went so far as to offer to lend a hand at Sentie’s Kitchen when we opened.

This is our last text conversation, a bittersweet reminder of his generosity and kindness. Although I only knew Steve for a couple of years, the impact he made on me and our restaurant was immense.

Steve’s legacy as a barbecue master and mentor will live on, and we are grateful to have been touched by his wisdom and kindness. Rest in peace, Steve. You will be deeply missed 😢
