I want to start by saying thank you to everyone that participated/ and assisted with the 2nd annual Co****le Tournament on May 31st in honor of mental health awareness. All proceeds went to Cody’s Climb- Team Lu Lu’s Crew.
It is truly amazing how our co****le family comes together for these events. The generosity and compassion to raise money for causes that directly affect our communities is truly commendable.
An extra special thank you to Mike Tarantino, Kyle Linehan, and Upstate NY co****le for running the tournament, set up, break down, your valuable time, and your generous donation of $200. I greatly appreciate both of you for your support with this event, and your continued commitment to our local communities and the game of co****le. Mike, thank you for always checking in to make sure I’m on task with getting things completed for the event, and your willingness to always lend a hand.
Thank you to all the individuals that generously donated to the event:
🫶Hexion (South Glens Falls) for their $200 donation. Thank You Regs for making this happen!
🫶Dan Shermen for his donation of $133 in airmail winnings
🫶Josh Kolonsky for his $100 donation of 50/50 winnings
🫶Upstate NY Co****le for the Tournament Thropies & $200 donation
🫶Katelyn Wood & Sammy Linendoll for their $40 dollar donation of their 3rd place winnings.
🫶Joe Vitouski for his donation of handmade outdoor chair to the basket raffle. Truly amazing craftmanship and the chair was a hit!
🫶Michael Alexanders donation of handmade wood light up flag. Another example of amazing craftsmanship.
🫶The many other basket raffle donators: Bonnie Williams, Morgan Largo, Makaylee Dowd, Connie Rosado, Mrs. Tarantino, the Shippee’s, and the many items donated by my Northern Rivers co-workers to create other baskets.
It was great day, and we raised just under $2,000 for su***de awareness, with donations accepting online until June 30th.
🧠In 2024, 2.2 million individuals in the United States attempted su***de, and 48,824 lost their life. Mental health is highly stigmatized and not discussed. The money raised will go to spreading awareness, decreasing stigma, and increase access to treatment.
As human beings we are unique in that no two humans have the exact same story, and we truly only know what someone is willing to share.
💚 Be Kind Always 💚
I’m excited to continue this tournament in years to come in honor of mental health awareness month. I look forward to being able to spend more time with my co****le family when I am done with school. Thank you all for your ongoing support!
Sincerely,
Lucy 💚
