Some projects are more than just a custom order—they become part of your life story.

When Shannon and her family approached me two years ago about designing her wedding gown for her ceremony at the University of Notre Dame, it wasn't just another inquiry. These were dear friends, and they trusted me to create something meaningful and timeless. What they didn’t know is that their request came during one of the most difficult seasons of my life. Working on Shannon’s gown gave me purpose, structure, and joy when I needed it most.

The final design—a silk crepe gown with clean lines and graceful movement—reflected Shannon’s elegance and the beauty of the sacred space where she would be married: the Basilica of the Sacred Heart.

This custom Anagrassia ensemble includes Style #5320 Communion Dress, made with French lace, silk jersey lining, and a tulle skirt—topped with a silk gazar sash. To complete the look, I designed a custom floral silk/wool jacket, fully lined in buttery soft silk charmeuse and finished with real leather buttons.

Every detail was handcrafted in our South Bend atelier using couture techniques and heirloom-quality textiles sourced from France and Italy.

St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church will celebrate Divine Liturgy for the Monday of the Holy Spirit on Monday, June 9, at 6:15 PM.

The church is beautifully decorated with fresh greenery to symbolize new life and the Holy Spirit.
