🌈 Somerset PlayCafe: Little Learners 🌈
FREE educational group for ages 1–10

Little Learners is a hands-on educational group in Somerset, Kentucky where kids ages 1–10 explore art, music, science, circle time, and themed activities each week. We typically meet on Tuesdays and also enjoy monthly picnics, field trips, and family events.

Since closing the PlayCafe storefront, our co-ops are now held in the Pulaski County Library Community Room. Families pack their own lunches for co-ops, picnics, and field trips, and we no longer offer drop-off services—a parent or guardian must stay with their child at all times.

Our group is completely free. The only cost you’ll ever have is your own tickets on field trips.

We’ve had quite a few questions about our Little Learners group since closing the PlayCafe, so we wanted to share a quick update on how things are going!

Little Learners is an educational group for children ages 0–10 where we explore art, music, science, and circle time in a fun, hands-on way.

We typically meet on Tuesdays for co-ops and also enjoy picnics, field trips, and family events throughout the month. We usually post a monthly calendar, but this month was a little busy.

Our group is completely free. The only cost you’ll ever have is for your own tickets on field trips.

Since closing the PlayCafe, our co-ops are now held in the Pulaski County Library Community Room.

Families pack their own lunches to enjoy together during co-op or at field trips and picnics. We also no longer offer drop-off services, so a parent or guardian must stay with their child at all times.

Message from Somerset PlayCafe Owner, Dakota Williams

It is with a heavy and saddened heart that I announce the closing of our store front. Somerset PlayCafe will close its doors on October 28th.

Our daughter’s health concerns have made it impossible to continue running the PlayCafe the way it deserves. You may have noticed days we’ve had to close early or completely and even events weve had to cancel. While this space has fulfilled its purpose in many beautiful ways, it’s simply no longer enough to keep it fully staffed and running smoothly. I have poured my heart and soul into this place, and it truly breaks my heart to say goodbye—but as a mom, I have to put my daughter first.

We have already reached out to everyone who has a party scheduled. If you have not yet received a message, please contact us directly.

To our Little Learners families, please know that we’re hoping to find a new location before the November session begins. A separate post and message will be shared in our Little Learners group with updates.

We completely understand any frustration or disappointment this may cause and deeply appreciate your kindness and understanding during this transition. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out through Facebook or by texting/calling me directly at (606) 770-1097.

Message us to book your child’s October/November/December party today!

Our prices start at $150, that gets you 2 hours of party and play room, plus 30 minutes before and after to set up and clean up, and a PlayCafe employee there at all times to ensure your day goes smoothly!

The first party to message will be upgraded for free to their choice of either a hotdog/nacho bar or a fully decorated party room!
