Like the silver nitrate once used to reveal invisible ink and hidden messages, silver has always had a way of bringing important things to light.

This year, it brought four of our spirits into the spotlight.

Awarded by the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, one of the most respected spirits competitions in the world.

For a distillery built around stories, secrets, and the art of discovery, we’d say that’s a fitting result.

“Small-batch” gets slapped on a lot of labels these days. Here’s what it means when we say it. 🏭

Every bottle of Spy Trail:

- Is distilled in batches small enough that we know each one by sight

- Is bottled fully by hand, right on Comac Street

- Is labeled one at a time — not by a machine

- Passes through the hands of fewer than 10 people from grain to glass

When something breaks, we fix it. When something’s off, we dump it. When something’s perfect, we bottle it and give it to you.

No shortcuts. No outsourcing. No nonsense.

That’s the philosophy behind every bottle we make — and it’s the same philosophy behind The Cipher Room, our brand-new tasting room built with the same hands-on care, attention to detail, and respect for the craft.

Today we pour one out. 🇺🇸

Spy Trail was born out of love for loved ones with military backgrounds and the quiet heroes of the
Culper Spy Ring — the neighbors who risked everything to pass information along this very trail to
George Washington.

Memorial Day isn’t about a sale or a slogan. It’s about the families who gave more than most of us will
ever understand.

To those who served, and to those who never made it home — we remember you. Always.
