For the first time, I held the Grapplers & Gimmicks Mike Shaw figures in my hands today… and I honestly cried.

Working alongside Mitch from Hasttel Toys and Mike’s widow Kelly Shaw to help bring these figures to life has been one of the greatest honors of my life as a wrestling fan, collector, and someone dedicated to preserving Mike’s legacy.

Seeing Bastion Bo**er and Friar Ferguson immortalized in figure form — with this level of love, detail, and respect — was overwhelming in the best possible way.

Mike Shaw was so much more than just one gimmick. Whether you knew him as Bastion Bo**er, Friar Ferguson, Norman the Lunatic, Makhan Singh, or any of the many unforgettable characters he brought to life, Mike gave everything he had to professional wrestling.

These aren’t just action figures to me. They are a tribute to a man I respected deeply and a way to make sure his legacy lives on for future generations of wrestling fans and collectors.

This is not the first Bastion Bo**er figure ever made — but in my opinion, it is hands down the best one ever created.

And who knows… maybe the asylum doors at Grapplers & Gimmicks haven’t closed just yet… 👀

Thank you to Mitch, Kelly, and everyone involved for helping make this happen.

Mike Shaw will never be forgotten.

Happy Heavenly 69th Birthday to the one and only Mike Shaw. 🎂❤️

Today we celebrate the life, legacy, and unforgettable career of a true professional wrestling original. Whether you knew him as Norman The Lunatic, Bastion Bo**er, Makhan Singh, or simply Mike Shaw, he was a performer fans could never forget and a person his friends and family will always miss.

Mike had a larger-than-life presence that could light up any locker room or arena. He made people laugh, shocked audiences, and carved out a place in wrestling history completely on his own terms. There was nobody else like him then, and there never will be again.

Beyond the characters and television appearances was a loyal friend, proud husband, and genuinely kind soul who never forgot his roots or the people who supported him throughout his journey.

Today, on what would have been his 69th birthday, we remember Mike not with sadness alone, but with appreciation for the memories, stories, and joy he gave to so many fans around the world.

Happy Birthday, Mike.
You are missed every single day, but your legacy continues to live on forever through the fans, the memories, and the Mike Shaw Legacy Collection.

Today we remember something special beyond the ring.

Happy Anniversary to Mike and Kelly ❤️

Over the years, a lot of fans have asked about the meaning behind the “502” on Norman the Lunatic’s hospital gear. It wasn’t random… it wasn’t just a number.

It was their anniversary.

When Mike was heading into WCW, Kelly actually made his first set of gear, and she added “502” as a reminder of home — a piece of his real life stitched right into the character. No matter how wild Norman the Lunatic got, that number grounded him.

That’s the kind of love and support that helped build Mike Shaw into the man and performer we all remember.

And here’s a cool side note a lot of people may not know: Bad News Brown stood as Mike’s best man.

Wrestling is a business built on larger-than-life characters… but stories like this remind you it’s also built on real relationships, real loyalty, and real love.
