Our On The Spot Catering team had an absolute blast serving 600 shredded brisket sandwich meals and being part of an awesome game-day atmosphere.

🏈 600 MEALS. ONE AWESOME SDSU TAILGATE. 🐰💙💛

This past Saturday, the On The Spot Catering team had the opportunity to serve 600 shredded brisket sandwich meals at the SDSU tailgate, and what a day it was!

A huge THANK YOU to Hurley & Associates for trusting our crew to feed your guests. We had an absolute blast serving everyone, soaking up the game-day atmosphere, and being a small part of such a great event.

Our team served up:
🔥 Slow-smoked shredded brisket sandwiches
🥗 Pasta salad
🥔 Kettle chips
🍪 Fresh-baked cookies
😁 And a whole lot of happy tailgaters

What an amazing way to start a Sunday. ❤️

We just wrapped up one of the busiest weekends in On The Spot Catering history, with our team running in a dozen different directions and serving a whole lot of people along the way.

Then this review popped up this morning from a small private drop-and-go catering we did yesterday.

These are the messages that make the long days, early mornings, late nights, and crazy weekends worth it.

What a beautiful way to spend a Saturday. 🍕💍

Today, September 5, 2026, we had the privilege of celebrating Thane & Alli Hein as they said “I do” at the Mosaic Arts & Events Center in downtown Sioux Falls.

For their wedding dinner, they decided to skip the ordinary and treat their guests to a full pizza buffet featuring freshly prepared pizzas, Caesar salad, breadsticks, and plenty of variety to keep everyone coming back for another slice.

There’s just something fun about watching a room full of wedding guests gather around great food, laugh together, and celebrate two people starting their next chapter.

Congratulations, Thane & Alli! 🥂❤️ Thank you for trusting On The Spot Catering & Big Poppa’s Pizza to be a small part of such a big day. We wish you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and plenty of pizza nights together.

We had the privilege of catering both Nate and Anna’s rehearsal dinner and wedding, and getting a review like this afterward means more to our team than we can put into words.
