There are moments in waiting when fear whispers louder than faith. You may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how things will work out. Yet God gently speaks through Exodus 14:14: You don’t have to fight every battle. You only need to be still. This verse lifts the heavy weight of self-reliance off your shoulders and reminds you that God Himself is working on your behalf.

Stillness here doesn’t mean giving up—it means giving over. It means surrendering the battles of anxiety, confusion, and worry and allowing God’s strength to step into the places where yours runs thin. He sees the obstacles you’re facing. He knows the desires of your heart. And He is acting even when you cannot see movement.

The waiting season becomes powerful when you stop trying to force outcomes and start trusting God’s strategy. The Israelites stood trapped between the Red Sea and an army—yet that was the very moment God performed a miracle they could never have imagined. Your own obstacles may feel bigger than your faith, but God specializes in breakthroughs that defy logic.

Stillness gives God room to move. It opens your heart to His peace, His direction, and His timing. It stops the spiral of doing and invites the calm of resting in His care.

You don’t have to fight alone. You don’t have to rush ahead. You don’t have to figure everything out. God is fighting for you, protecting you, preparing the path, and shaping the future. Be still—not in defeat, but in trust. For where your strength ends, His begins. And He will carry you through every moment of your waiting with love, power, and perfect faithfulness.

Are We Near the End Times? Franklin Graham's Powerful Warning Amid World 'Implosion'

The Rev. Franklin Graham issued an urgent call to prayer, encouraging Americans to come together on January 14 to collectively seek God — a move he believes is essential for a nation he believes has turned its back on the Lord. "Our nation is falling so far from God and His truth," Graham told CBN News.

Ultimately, Graham said the dysfunction unfolding simply shouldn't be happening and said clinging to God is the solution America needs. "We need God's help, and we need just to surrender ourselves to Him," he said. "And, as a nation, repent."

With so much chaos unfolding not just in America, but in the Middle East — from Israel to Iran and everything in between — some might be looking at these events and trying to process theological beliefs about eschatology and the end times. Graham addressed this as well.
