One of my sweet brides recently asked me the benefits of having a bridal shoot. I’m always in favor of this special shoot! Here are my top 5 reasons:
1️⃣ You have oodles of time dedicated to capture all of your own personal details on your dress
2️⃣ If it does happens to rain on your wedding day, you have already taken gorgeous images of just you!
3️⃣ You have a chance to wear your dress for a few hours before your wedding day to see if anything needs to be adjusted so it’s 100% ready for you to wear all day
4️⃣ I recommend doing a full hair and make up trial run on this same day so you get the full picture of your style and look
5️⃣ Have your floral designer do a mock up of your bridal bouquet for you to use as a prop during your shoot. It may not be the exact bouquet due to the season of your shoot vs the season of your wedding but you can do the same colors and get the full visual and make any adjustments necessary
We are very very careful with your dress on this shoot day, taking extra care not to move you around too much as to not soil the dress. I will typically have a white sheet with me to place under your dress when we position you so your dress isn’t touching the ground. If a small soil does happen though, you can have it cleaned and pressed and ready for your wedding day!! Ask your dress shop who they recommend before your shoot.
