Friends of Kaimana's Katering, Uncle's Hawaiian Grindz, my new restaurant, will be opening for Friends and Family on Wednesday, Oct 19 and Thursday Oct 20. I have a limited number of invitations but would love to welcome those that may be available. Many of you are among my first cooking class students or catering customers and I appreciate all of your support throughout this journey. If you are available on one of those nights please message me with the number in your party and a mailing address so that I may send an invitation. While supplies last.

One chef has to drive around in a delivery car while they make a breakfast pizza. Another chef has to make jalapeno poppers in a popcorn machine. Finally, one chef has to make sorbet while dragging around a giant action movie poster.

Had a fantastic class tonight...Hawaiian Surf and Turf. Met another young inspired Chef. Her dad Joe brought her (Gisele) to class as a birthday present. She has been waiting 4 months and tonight was so special for her. Awesome job!

Very proud of my class today...they killed it with Poke Salad with Mirin Aioli, Kona Coffee rubbed Strip Steak with Pineapple Soy Reduction, Purple Potato Puree, Haricots Vert with Dashi Butter and for dessert Deep fried Kokoalaisa (coconut chocolate rice balls) with Creme Anglaise, Strawberry Ginger Gastrique and Dark Rum Ganache.
