“I photograph couples who are in love and families in the warm sunshine. I’ve been doing this ever since I shot my grandmother’s portrait on a sunny Sunday after church, and that image hung in our living room till this day. That image of granny is one of my favorite images because it’s the only memory I have of her. My children will get to see granny and I will share my memories of her with them.

I have not won any photographer’s award yet, but my greatest honor is about placing albums in the hands of couples who will later place that same album in the hands of their grandchildren.”
