Why I Stopped “Meeting People Where They Are” — And You Should Too❣️
I know we’ve all heard the phrase: “Just meet them where they are.”
It sounds compassionate. It sounds noble. But lately? It doesn’t sit right with me. And honestly, I don’t think it should sit right with you either.
Let’s be real—what if where they are is deep in confusion? Shame? Scarcity?
I can’t meet you there.
Because I don’t live there anymore.
I’ve done the work. I’ve sat with myself. I’ve cried. I’ve prayed. I’ve pulled myself out of places I didn’t think I’d survive. And now? I stand in a space that’s sacred—a space where I’ve remembered who I am.
A space where I honor my boundaries.
Where I choose myself without guilt.
Where I lean into my divine energy and call back my power, daily.
To leave that space just to reach someone who isn’t ready? That’s not healing. That’s self-abandonment.
And sis, we’re not doing that anymore.
I’m not above anyone. But I am in alignment with the healed version of me. The one who’s still becoming, but no longer settling.
If you feel called to rise, I’ll be right here—shining, grounded, and holding the frequency. But you’ve got to meet yourself at that next level. Not expect others to dim their light to meet you in the dark.
No backpedaling. No watering it down for comfort.
Not for love. Not for approval. Not even for “potential.”
So today I say it clearly and unapologetically:
Choose your higher self.
Like she’s already here.
Because she is. 🔥
With love, light, and a whole lot of truth,
