Because is a magician, I thought it would be a good chance to say hello and reintroduce myself!

Hi, I’m Kelly 💐 I grow flowers on a misty little mountain farm just outside Chattanooga, Tennessee—where the air smells like honeysuckle, the kids are barefoot, and there’s always a vase waiting to be filled.

After studying horticulture at the University of Georgia (shoutout to my mentor Dr. A; 💐), I spent years digging into plant breeding and garden design. Eventually, I came home—to the mountain, to family, to flowers—and started Terra Flower Farm.

Now I spend my days growing heirloom blooms, making romantic arrangements, and chasing beauty in the everyday. Whether I’m knee-deep in dahlias or delivering a bouquet to someone in love, I believe flowers can say what words sometimes can’t.

My husband plays bass and makes the world’s best cafecito. Our daughter an artist and dancer, our son loves soccer and Zelda, and I’m out here building bouquets like it’s my love language.

I always wish bearded iris’s lasted just a little bit longer.

I was gifted these years ago by one of my dearest friends amazing mothers. I treasure them every year. Not only are they stunners, but these blooms and (every Iris for that matter) will always make me think of the mother of all things prater.

(She also held a bouquet in her fridge for a whole week and then came out fresh, that is why locally grown is the best, they last because most of those blooms were harvested the day before delivery!)
