🎨📞 : “Telephone is an exhibition about human communication and the fidelity (or infidelity) of ideas as imagery. Inspired by the children’s game ‘telephone’ we carried out a visual experiment.
Four artists began by making one original piece known as the” original message.” In turn, each artist created a new work based only on a phone call description of the one before it. The final pieces are not exact copies but rather a series of interpretations, each one adding a new layer of meaning, misunderstanding, mystery.
Sound artist Tiny Alive built four sound installations in response to the final pieces of visual art in the telephone chain. The result is an auditory experience through the receivers of analog telephones. Each song was written specially for each series of paintings.
