They say we stand on the shoulders of giants, but I like to think I’m standing on the strength of the woman who taught me how to fight differently. 🕊️

In honor of Mother’s Day, I am officially introducing StillStanding Advocacy.
I’m an LMSW who saw a gap in our field. We spend our lives advocating for everyone else, but we often forget to advocate for ourselves. I founded this business because of the lessons Mama Kay instilled in me: that resilience isn't just about surviving; it's about standing tall even when the work gets heavy.

To the helpers, the healers, and the advocates who are feeling the weight of compassion fatigue—you don't have to stand alone. We are here to support the frontline.

Happy Mother’s Day to the one who started it all. I hope you're watching, because I’m still down here, fighting like you taught me.
Still standing. 🕊️

For years, this page was a place where Mama Kay mended things for others. Today, we carry that spirit forward. Linda Stills Fashions is now StillStanding Advocacy.

We aren't mending clothes anymore—we’re mending the systems that support our community health workers, teachers, nurses, and social workers. Welcome to the Shield.
