Born during the challenging times of 2021 and hitting the road in 2023, The RiB Bone is a dream turned reality. With over 25 years of combined culinary experience, we bring history, soul, and authenticity to every dish. Edward honed his skills as head chef at his family’s beloved Dayton, Ohio restaurant, MaryAnn’s Southern Kitchen, rooted in the deep flavors of Homer, Louisiana. Kareta carries the powerful legacy of her grandmothers – legendary cooks who nourished and uplifted during the Selma civil rights marches. At The RiB Bone, we do more than cook – we create moments.
