“No one fights alone”! The motto chosen for Bill’s benefit last Saturday night. The amount of love we felt from everyone that night proved that to be so true! I cannot even begin to say enough “Thank you’s” to everyone that gave a helping hand.
My sister, Annette and girl friend Beth got together first. Then my daughters Larissa and Natasha joined the group followed by my sister in law Beth. They separated the tasks and put out a post on FB asking for help. Within minutes it was overwhelming how much response they received. Enough to make me cry.
They would not let me help with anything. For those that know me well, you already know how crazy that made me. I am a hands on type of person.
So many people had their hands into making sure the benefit was successful, so for fear I miss someone, WE THANK YOU ALL!!❤️
The core group could not have done it alone.
Whether you hung fliers, picked up raffle prizes(amazing by the way), donated, shared the post, helped with food, set up, worked that day, cleaned up, or did anything to make it possible, we are forever grateful!
To everyone that attended you are all amazing. Our family and friends, our horse family, our friends from the Marlette and Brown City community, coworkers, customers from the greenhouse, classmates(wow we’ve been out of school for to many years to say out loud), our daughter and son in laws family and friends, thank you! We had people from Oklahoma, Illinois, Kentucky, and Ohio come in for the event. To those that could not attend but sent cards, messages, or made a phone call you are all appreciated.
Here are a million “Thank you’s plus a million more”!! You my friends and family made sure I can take care of Bill through his journey!! We are staying positive that his health stays well and his journey long. Your love and support mean the world to us!
