Another year of joining couples in Prescott area, North Central Arizona, and the Grand Canyon for 2022. As always, it has been an honor and joy for me to be involved in this amazing profession. Yet, it is the couples that make it amazing by allowing me to witness their excitement and their heartfelt connection through joining in marriage. I appreciate all the couples who have forever gifted me by allowing me to be their officiant in 2022. I look forward to meeting the 2023 couples who are ready for the next step in their wonderful life journey together! Photo courtesy of Danielle Holman Photography.

Wow! This year went by fast. Although the larger venues opened up this year, I found myself still marrying many couples who opted for smaller gatherings to adjust to current times. Although small ceremonies, they were heartfelt, intimate--and we all know--love knows no bounds. I want to thank all of them for the blessing to be a part of their special day. Thank you!! Blessings to you in the year ahead as you create your wonderful life together!

I look forward to the many couples who find their way to me to join them in marriage in 2022. It will be an honor and a joy!

Happy New Year to All!!

Wow! It was an interesting year, but once again I had the joy and honor of joining many couples in marriage in Prescott, Sedona, and surrounding areas. This year was different with mostly small and intimate ceremonies. Many couples had to cancel their large wedding plans, but found Sedona a nice backup option rather than postpone their dream. A lot of them will have a larger celebration with family and friends when the pandemic is behind us. Yet, during this time of uncertainty, they realized that what mattered most was having each other and sharing in a wonderful life journey together. I wish all of these couples of 2020 a lifetime of love, growth, and happiness!

Here is looking forward to all the couples who seek to be married in 2021 in Sedona...

Here are a couple of unique 2019 weddings in Prescott that I want to post before the year ends:

Clarke reached out to me back in July and wanted to marry his sweetheart in the gym where they met. I was happy to oblige. Here is to Clarke and Lanette as they stay fit for life as husband and wife!

Nicole and Andrew shared their vows with one another at Prescott Resort at the end of November. They are both veterans and had an honor guard as part of their ceremony. Much happiness to these newlyweds on their wonderful life journey together! Wedding planning by StarStruck! Events.

Oh my! Another year has gone by. Yet, it has been another amazing year of being blessed by couples who desired to be joined in marriage. I am sincerely grateful to all those couples who have allowed me to witness the depths of love and joy in the bond they created with one another. It truly has been an honor to be a part of your special day!

I am in full appreciation of the gifts that 2018 brought me in the way of joining couples together in marriage. I have deep gratitude for each couple who trusted me with their heartfelt expressions of love toward each other. Yet it is not just the wedding day that I find so fulfilling, but also getting to know a couple in a prior meeting(s) and hearing their unique story of coming together. I have been officiating weddings now for over a decade and it continues to be a great source gratitude and fulfillment for me. I sincerely thank all of those couples who took a chance on me as their officiant for their special day in 2018. I look forward to meeting more couples in 2019 and hearing their unique story and bond that propelled them to their decision to journey together for lifetime. In Gratitude, Ken.

It has been awhile since I have posted about a Prescott wedding but this one was truly a joy to officiate at Goldwater Lake with Gianna and Kevin's joining back in June. What was so unique about their ceremony is that they included so many elements that truly made it a memorable time, which included their mothers addressing them, the wedding party each sharing what they wished for them in their married life, planting a cactus together, and the sharing of personal vows. There was quite a bit of laughter and tears of joy shared by all. I know Kevin and Gianna are on solid footing as they embark on their wonderful life journey as husband and wife! I first met Michael at his workplace at Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters in Prescott when he shared in a meeting that he was engaged to be married. The overriding sense I got when he shared this was that he was right on schedule. There was this feeling that he had done the necessary work and the development to take this next step in his journey. It was then truly a gift and honor for me when he and Barbara reached out to me later to officiate their joining at Van Dickson's Ranch in Skull Valley in September. I am confident these two will have a wonderful life together as husband and wife, growing together and truly enjoying each other's company, which is easily witnessed when you see them together!

I have always wanted to officiate a wedding at Windmill House in Chino Valley. Carolyn and Jerry gave me the opportunity in September. It was a joy meeting them at their home and listening to their unique story of finding love again later in life. It was truly a lovely day surrounded by the love of their family and friends. We were all honored to have Carolyn's mother make the journey to witness her daughter marry. What a blessed day!

Unfortunately, the image came out blurry but the experience was joyful. I had a great time meeting Prescott brides, wedding professionals, venues and vendors at the 2016 Prescott Bridal Affaire at the historic Hassayampa Inn. This is my second year at this event and Hazel Bowman of PrescottWeddings.com did an exceptional job once again in creating an event that brings brides and the wedding industry together under one roof. What a great wedding community in Prescott!
