For us, Florida B**r Burros has never been about building a business empire or chasing bookings.

In fact, venues reach out all the time asking if we'd like exclusive partnerships or special arrangements for their clients. The answer is always a grateful but honest no.

Why?

Because this isn't a job for us.

Our boys aren't employees. They're family. Every booking is carefully chosen, our donkeys have a very limited schedule, and their wellbeing comes before everything else. We don't pack their calendars, we don't push them beyond their comfort zones, and we're certainly not looking to make money off their backs.

Every dollar earned goes right back where it belongs: the animals. The rescue. The veterinary care. The feed. The fencing. The countless lives depending on us every day.

But there's another side to it.

To every venue, couple, event planner, and client who has reached out with these opportunities: wow... thank you.

The fact that people love our boys enough to want them at their events means more than you'll ever know. We love seeing the smiles, the laughter, the excitement, and sometimes even the happy tears they bring. We love watching people meet a donkey for the first time and instantly fall in love.

Most of all, we love that these moments give us a chance to talk about the reason Florida B**r Burros exists in the first place: giving animals a better life.

The b**r is fun. The donkeys are adorable. But the real mission has always been the rescue.

Nobody sees us behind the scenes like, “Did the donkeys get their pedicures? Are the flowers ready? Are the costumes clean? Did we pack EVERYTHING?!” 😂

There is SO much that goes into every Florida B**r Burros event before our fuzzy little bartenders ever make their grand entrance.

Farrier care. Grooming. Flowers. Costumes. Year-round insurance. Supplies. Transportation. And about 147 little details that nobody notices unless we forget one. 😂

We put those extras in because that’s what sets Florida B**r Burros apart. We want every event to feel special, polished, fun, and completely unforgettable.

🐴🏴‍☠️ Gus showed up to a pirate‑themed wedding like he was born on a ship and ready to steal everyone’s rum. The guests didn’t stand a chance — he charmed every single one of them and probably joined three new pirate crews by the end of the night.

2026 is officially CLOSED — fully booked, every slot gone.
But we still have a few openings in 2027, and we’re now booking into 2028 for anyone who wants donkeys delivering drinks at their wedding, party, or full‑blown pirate takeover.

Florida B**r Burros didn’t start as a business — it started as a friendship, a rescue mission, and two people who believed animals deserved better.

Back in 2019, my best friend had this wild little idea:
What if our burros could bring joy to people… and also help fund the rescue work we were already doing?
That spark turned into a family‑owned, family‑run operation that’s been showing up at weddings, parties, and events ever since.

But here’s the part most people don’t know:
Every single booking helps keep our rescue going.
Proceeds from Florida B**r Burros go directly to our nonprofit, Cudabears Lair Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, where more than 250 animals rely on us every day.

So when our boys trot into your event with drinks, smiles, and long‑ear attitude, they’re doing more than entertaining —
They’re helping feed, vet, transport, and care for the animals who depend on us.

Family‑owned. Rescue‑powered. Burro‑delivered joy.

🤠 “Cowboy on the Clock
Today’s event featured one very serious working man: our B**r Burro Cowboy.

He trotted in like he owned the ranch, delivered drinks like a gentleman, and then immediately tried to negotiate for hay, snacks, and a union‑approved break.

Guests got beverages. He got compliments. Balance restored.

Starting in the new year, we’re dropping to just 1 booking slot per month — because even a hardworking cowboy needs time to decompress, roll in the dirt, and practice his dramatic entrances.

Florida B**r Burros is officially down to the last handful of openings for 2026.
Our 2027 calendar is already stacking up, and somehow y’all have started claiming dates in 2028 like it’s nothing. The donkeys are flattered. I’m overwhelmed. The inbox is feral.

With The Cat House Cat Café opening, we’re shifting gears in a big way. To keep our animals happy, healthy, and never overworked, B**r Burro events will be limited to 1–2 bookings per month moving forward. That means fewer dates, more intentional events, and a whole lot of people trying to squeeze into the calendar at the same time.

If you’ve been thinking about booking the burros for your wedding, party, festival, or “I just want donkeys handing out drinks because life is short” celebration… this is your heads‑up. Once these last 2026 dates are gone, they’re gone. And 2027–2028 will fill just as fast.
