We'll have a more concise list for you soon, but for folks visiting that are unfamiliar with the area around The Substation in Seattle, here is a quick run down of transit options to look into depending on where you are staying or what you would like to do during the day. Substation is located in the Fremont neighborhood and it is accessible by several bus lines.
To reach Substation Seattle at 645 NW 45th St, the following King County Metro bus routes are available to the Fremont neighborhood:
From Downtown Seattle: Routes 5, 40, and 62.
From the North End: Routes 5 or 62.
From Ballard or the U-District (for Upper Fremont): Route 44.
From Magnolia/Queen Anne or the U-District (for downtown Fremont): Routes 31/32.
