Brought into balance through contrast — where orange and purple meet, bear grass adds movement, and alocasia introduces a familiar form in an unfamiliar setting.

Elements fall forward and overlap, framing the space and drawing your eye in so the arrangement feels like something you step into, not just look at.

A space to pause.

This floral arch and meadow installation began with overwintered twigs and branches just beginning to bloom.

Spring branches are fleeting. For a brief moment each year, they reach outward with quiet energy — full of life, movement, and promise. Working with them is less about shaping and more about observing, following the natural line of each stem.

This piece slowly found its form that way — branch by branch — letting the season lead and the stems guide the shape.

There’s something fitting about that for a wedding.

Valentine’s Day was full in the best way 💕

Thank you to the local businesses — — who partnered with us and to every customer who chose Butterfly’s Rest to help express your love. It’s an honor to be part of those moments.

The studio is now taking a short break — I’m heading to Korea to be with family and to continue refining my artistry through floral study. It feels important to pause, reconnect, and return inspired.

I’ll continue responding to inquiries and emails during this time, but orders and events will be paused until April 10.

Understory is about the beauty beneath the forest canopy 🍂

Design inspired by the forest floor — where florals, roots, vegetables, and texture exist in balance. Nothing ornamental. Everything intentional. Imperfect, textural, alive.

I wanted this table to feel like part of the forest floor rather than something placed on top of it, which meant letting unexpected materials take the lead — radishes as the focal point of the bouquet, garlic treated as styling elements.

This kind of grounded work is what I keep coming back to.
