Friendly PSA from your photographer- now is the time to book Christmas card photos. Think about it- the weather isn't freezing yet. You will have time to get cards ordered- or have me do them. I also do graphic design and I have accounts with pro labs with dreamy quality paper. I am going to be doing Christmas tree minis and possibly some cute themed ones. You can split payment (did you know I do that? I do!) Pay the $50 deposit to hold your session and rest later. I have gift certificates available. Have photos done somewhere else? I can gladly design and order cards and gifts. These are some favorites from Christmas minis across the years.

#motherhood is my favorite. I love it. I adore my kids. I feel like parenthood gets such a bad rap but when all is said and done, it's the best thing you could ever do with your life, even if kids aren't your thing. Just have one. This was, hands down, one of the best sessions I've ever done.

It was really special too because we surprised their mom with the prints for Mother's Day. So long ago! But so good. Cass is getting married soon and I just had to dig out that car picture for her fiancé :)

Most days I reach for my cell phone camera and edit it with text with the WordSwag app or color edit with Snapseed or Lightroom mobile.

I always find some kind of symbolism in things. This is a real whistle my friend Amanda made for me. I found this verse and thought I'd share it with you all.

Between all the beautifully edited sessions are these moments in life that are just as worthy of being shared.
