The Workshop has been designing and creating iconic event experiences in Seattle for over 25 years.

Specializing in the production and design of brand enhancing events for local businesses and nonprofits, we provide clients with the ability to achieve their goals through strategic live experiences. We design and develop event concepts, and oversee show, production, and technical management. Our goal is to design event experiences that create impact and help clients achieve their objectives through the most powerful communication tool available: events.

We’re grateful our on-site team is safe and accounted for. Our hearts are with everyone impacted by the gun violence at Seattle Center last night. We are thinking of the victims, their loved ones, and all those whose sense of safety was shaken by this tragedy.

West Seattle Summer Fest is officially wrapped, and this year was one for the books! 2026 marked The Workshop’s 5th annual Summer Fest and we were thrilled to celebrate the event’s 44th year.

Three days, thousands of neighbors, and 4.5 blocks of summer vibrancy! We close the streets and fill them with hours of live music, 169 craft, commercial, and sponsor booths, plus 30 food and beverage vendors.

Our team led pre-planning, onsite labor scheduling, permitting, and designed a signage plan to boost visibility across the event. Production Manager Alexandra Angelova oversaw all rental logistics for the festival’s footprint. She wrangled rental details for festival vendors and local brick-and-mortar businesses.; an unmatched organizational achievement!

The Workshop operated both the Beer Garden and “The Porch”, Summer Fest’s first-ever all-ages food and beverage space. We have expert staff who deliberately curate the bar menu to include local and specialty beverages. Kudos to Janae Sherry in her second year as the event’s producer, and for building yet another well-crafted bar menu for Summer Fest goers.

A major highlight of this year’s festival? Our food and beverage reuse program, in partnership with .reuse and . With roughly 65,000 reusable items in rotation, West Seattle Summer Fest continues to be largest open festival footprint in Seattle to go fully reuse-forward.

Huge shout out to our staff and crew who put in long days, and longer hours!! From the early setup calls to the final teardown, you showed up with your willingness and good attitudes. You make West Seattle’s biggest event of the year look effortless. Thank you!

Nearing the final stretch for summer festival season!

Like many in our industry, The Workshop is front and center for FIFA in Seattle this
season. Several projects have us at the heart of the local World Cup action.

We are proud to be partnering with to manage two major Coca-Cola
activations at Pier 62 and inside Seattle Stadium . These locations are two
of Seattle’s busiest fan zones, making efficiency and public safety high priorities. From
load in logistics, to flow management, and on-site operations, we’re making sure every
fan’s experience is fun, safe, and welcoming from first arrival to final whistle.

In collaboration with Shows and , our team is
leading the public safety operations for a series of post-game drone shows at The Workshop’s decades of experience managing large scale safety
plans for pyrotechnics and drone shows give guests worry-free access to live
spectacles.

The Workshop is lending its technical savvy to the for watch parties
and concerts at West Lake Center Park throughout the summer. Our team designed a
versatile viewing environment to support both game screenings and live music in
Seattle’s historic retail core.

We are proud of our work on World Cup programming and celebrations that are bringing
people together IRL across the region. The Workshop is helping Seattle show the world

Sound Transit, Crosslake Connection Grand Opening Line 1 & Line 2 🚊

YEARS in the making. One unforgettable day. Communities on the east and west sides of Lake Washington are officially connected!

The Workshop activated THREE light rail stations simultaneously:
Judkins Park Station
International District Station
South Bellevue Station

From the jump, our team was deep in the planning trenches ensuring every detail of the ribbon cutting at Jimi Hendrix Park was dialed in.

We sourced, booked, and coordinated vendors and entertainment who brought the energy and set the tone for the entire celebration. Good food, good vibes, right on cue.

We built a well-thought-out safety plan from the ground up, architecting crowd management protocols specifically designed for a high-profile, high-attendance public event, because a great event is first and foremost a SAFE one. And when it came time for the ribbon cutting itself, our team designed and managed seamless VIP pathways so that every dignitary and honored guest transitioned towards Judkins Park Station with intention, ease, and presence.

This capstone celebration illustrates what The Workshop does best; we produce moments that connect communities and move them forward together.

Blood Cancer United’s Big Climb at Columbia Tower

Climbs round two, this time honoring our beloved community members!

69 floors. 1,356 steps. 788 feet of elevation, and $712,000 raised (Still counting)!

The Workshop team returned to The Columbia Tower for another exciting day managing logistics, public safety, and crowd flow. We attended to all those little details, ensuring that the participants could focus on every single step of their journey up the tallest building in Seattle!

Blood Cancer United’s Firefighter Stair Climb at Columbia Tower

69 floors, 1,356 steps, 788 feet of elevation, and $2,424,548 raised (and still counting)! Every step taken honors the bravery of our firefighters and the lives impacted by this incredible cause.

The Workshop was proud to manage the logistics for this year’s event, which brought no shortage of challenges. A huge shoutout to our Producer, Janae Sherry, whose thorough contingency planning kept every detail on track while navigating out-of-commission elevators, medical emergencies, weather, and much more. Her preparation and calm under pressure were invaluable!

What a way to ring in 2026! 🎆

Even with Mother Nature rolling in the fog, our community showed up for two unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebrations.

From fleeting views at Alaska Airlines New Year’s at the Needle to the vibrant energy of the Bellevue New Year’s Eve Night Market, the spirit of the night couldn’t be dimmed.

Huge thanks to everyone who bundled up, embraced the mystery, and celebrated with us. When the unexpected happens, preparation and teamwork matter most. Our crew worked hand-in-hand with safety teams and event partners to adapt in real time—adjusting show plans, enhancing wayfinding, and keeping the energy high while prioritizing safety.

The Workshop elves have been busy this month. Early December events included a spirited local law firm holiday party and the opening of Sound Transit’s newest light rail station in Federal Way.

Another year producing the iconic stair-climb fundraiser for cancer research with Fred Hutch and the Space Needle! Always an honor to support this climb for a cure.

Light The Night
Blood Cancer United's “never-not-raining” fundraiser walk saw record winds this year, but our team powered through to support this impactful event.

UW Family Weekend
Celebrating university first-year students and their families. The clouds parted just as guests arrived—huge cheers to our crew for championing an especially soggy load-in and load-out.

Events on the horizon include the grand opening of Sound Transit's Federal Way light rail station and, New Year’s at the Needle, Seattle’s premier pyro and light spectacle!
