Before it was the Radisson, it was Scranton’s gateway home. 🚂❄️

Lackawanna Station opened in 1908, served passenger trains until 1970, and began a new chapter as a hotel in 1983.

Here’s my Christmas imagining of the station in the 1950s. 🎄

Christmas at The Globe Store in downtown Scranton. 🎄❤️

For so many families, a trip to The Globe at Christmastime was part of the magic of the season.

I took these old photographs from inside the store and used AI to carefully add color, giving us a little glimpse of what Christmas at The Globe may have looked like all those years ago.

As another Christmas season comes to a close, I just want to pause and say thank you.

Thank you to every family who welcomed me into your homes, every business that invited me into your workplace, and every child who believed — even for just a moment — that magic was real.

This season was filled with laughter, wide eyes, hugs, stories, and moments I’ll carry with me all year long. Being trusted with your traditions and memories is something I never take lightly.

Now it’s time for me to hang up the suit for a bit, reflect, and start preparing for an even more magical season next year. I’ll be training, planning, and dreaming up new ways to bring joy, wonder, and heart to every visit.
