🔥 DINNER UPDATE 🔥
We will be closed for dinner service this week as we head up to Wheatland, WY to help a great friend open his new restaurant, . It’s a big week for Midwest hospitality and we’re proud to lend a hand.
But don’t worry — brunch is still on for Sunday, and LYFE pick-ups are running as usual!
As a tease of what we’ve been working on, check out our Chicken Kiev, stuffed with rich compound butter, crusted in our house sourdough crumbs, and fried golden in tallow. We serve it over creamed wild spinach — also known as lambs quarters, a humble wild green with a deep history. Before cultivated spinach made its way into American kitchens, this native plant was foraged across the country for its earthy, iron-rich leaves. You’ve probably seen it growing wild — but here, we elevate it with care and reverence, turning a “weed” into a highlight.
📅 We’ll be back to normal hours next week — thanks for your support and understanding while we show up for our friends the way you’ve shown up for us.
💬 Drop a comment if you’ve ever cooked with lambs quarters or have fond memories of it growing wild!
