The Condes didn’t do a traditional wedding.

They did theirs 🥀

They chose red- deep, unapologetic, the color of something that means it. Dark anthurium and crimson hydrangea overflowing from white pedestals. Cherubs standing watch over candlelit tables. A mariachi band playing throughout their cocktail hour on a checkered floor, because love this intentional deserves a little drama.

Every detail was chosen like a word in a vow. The velvet burgundy runners. The black organza favor bags stamped with their date. The signature cocktail named after their family. The cake she put her face into, because joy doesn’t always look composed.

And it shouldn’t have to.

This was a Valentine’s Day wedding that didn’t borrow anyone else’s aesthetic. It built its own world and invited everyone in.

Some weddings follow the rules. This one rewrote them entirely ✨

Jane + Evan said “yes” to color, chaos, and pure creative freedom at The Oviatt (one of downtown LA’s most iconic Art Deco gems) and the result was nothing short of a vibe.

We’re talking hand-painted wine bottle centerpieces. A copper pipe chuppah draped in pom-pom garlands. A bouquet that looks like a fever dream in the best possible way, containing anthurium, sweet peas, oncidium, and confetti-painted billy balls all in one armful. Iridescent block heels that shift from magenta to teal. A checkered dance floor. Bougainvillea cascading off the sweetheart table. And yes — a bathtub moment with a rhinestone crown, because why not.

This wedding wasn’t just designed. It was felt.

For this celebration, the couple traded traditional palettes for a monochromatic exploration of texture: chartreuse anthuriums, mossy installations, and the ethereal drape of Spanish moss under a canopy of ancient oaks.

From the architectural floral design to the whimsical surprise of a flower-adorned martini donkey, every element was curated to evoke a sense of garden sophistication.

The Star-Crossed Edit: A Production Breakdown🕯️🥀

Transparency is the ultimate luxury. We’re pulling back the curtain on this Renaissance-inspired Moonbeam production to show exactly what it takes to marry high-concept editorial design with a seamless guest experience.

From the architectural depth of the venue to the intentionality behind every bloom, this day was about more than an aesthetic.

It was about a curated atmosphere.

We leaned into the “Old World” charm of stone and ivy, layering in deep reds and overgrown, “just-plucked” floral installs to create a sense of history. Every touchpoint was intentional, from the weight of the deckled-edge stationery to the glow of hundreds of taper candles and the rich texture of velvet linens.

The unexpected elements are what leave a legacy. A cinematic movie projector and a surprise drag queen performance transformed a traditional reception into a high-energy, immersive experience.

This production reflects our 2025 wedding season, with the creative team/prices secured throughout 2024 and 2025. Please note: this total excludes the groom’s attire and accessories.

The air is heavy, scented with woodsmoke and expensive gin, as you move through a space that feels less like a venue and more like a purposefully curated fever dream. This is the Funhaus-styled wedding, reimagined through a lens of bruised crimsons and midnight shadows.

There is no soft romanticism here: only the sharp, deliberate wit of the avant-garde.

We watch as aerialists unfurl from the rafters like smoke, pouring champagne with elegant precision, while a vintage carousel revolves in the center of the room like a golden, rotating heartbeat under the flicker of a thousand candles. It is a high-production cabaret, a sophisticated nod to the absurd where the irony is as meticulously tailored as the black-tie dress code.

This is not a celebration of the “timeless”; it is a celebration of the visceral. We are crafting a beautifully orchestrated, slightly unsettling masterpiece that demands its guests leave their expectations at the door.

There is a fine line between a theme and a curated aesthetic, and Allison and Patrick’s celebration served as the perfect example of the latter. Transporting guests to a golden era of jet-set glamour and Polynesian pop, every detail was a deliberate nod to mid-century tiki sophistication.

The atmosphere was defined by a rich, tactile palette. Deep emerald tones served as the foundation, brought to life through lush, architectural flora. Long, banquet-style tables featured a vibrant cornucopia of exotic fruits—papayas, pineapples, and dragon fruit—intermingled with monstera leaves and Bird of Paradise blooms. Woven rattan textures, vintage-inspired glassware, and whimsical “Fortune Teller” napkins added a layer of playful charm to the high-end industrial backdrop of exposed brick and warm bistro lighting.
