We’ll always love a crisp, classic white wedding… but give us ALL the bright, vivid color, too. 🌸🍊💛🌿

And there was absolutely no way April & Nikki weren’t going to let their bright, colorful spirits shine through in the design of their wedding day!!

Savannah is GREEN, especially in the spring and especially when you’re getting married beneath the oak trees in one of our historic squares. So when April & Nikki chose Chatham Square for their ceremony, we knew their design needed to bring enough color to truly make the space feel like theirs.

Chatham Square was intentional for more than just its gorgeous low-hanging oak branches. Nikki is a design professor at SCAD, and one of SCAD’s buildings sits right across the street. It made an already beautiful Savannah ceremony location feel even more personal to their story.

Against all that Savannah green, their vivid spring color palette absolutely POPPED, and we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way!!

Colorful weddings will forever have a place in our hearts. Give us the pinks, oranges, yellows, unexpected combinations and couples who aren’t afraid to make their wedding actually look and feel like them.

Our Ceremony 🕊️

My vision for our waterfront wedding ceremony was natural, romantic, and full of rich color. Deep reds, warm oranges, and romantic pinks paired with unexpected touches of light blue created the perfect palette against the Savannah riverfront.

We incorporated Spanish moss throughout the design as an ode to Savannah and the city we love so much. Hey Jude took every piece of that vision and brought it to life more beautifully than I could have imagined.

Some venues become more than just a place to celebrate. They become part of your story.

As Soho South officially closes its doors, we're reflecting on the incredible impact it had on Savannah's wedding community and on LM Events.

Soho South was one of the first venues to truly take a chance on us. They welcomed us onto their preferred vendor list and gave couples the opportunity to hire us as their coordinator through the venue. Those early bookings helped build the foundation of LM Events, and we'll always be grateful for that support.

Over the years, we've celebrated so many unforgettable weddings within those walls. We've helped with outfit changes, coordinated surprise performances, cut beautiful cakes, and watched packed dance floors turn into the best kind of party.

What made Soho South special wasn't just the space. It was the people, the hospitality, the incredible food, and the way every couple could make the venue uniquely their own.

While Soho South may no longer be hosting weddings, its impact will live on through the countless memories created there.

Thank you, Soho South, for believing in us from the beginning. You will always hold a special place in our hearts and forever be part of the LM Events story.

The doors may be closed, but the memories will last forever. 🤍

Hot take from a planning call today: your wedding is not a family reunion.

When building your guest list, focus on the people who have truly been part of your story, the ones who showed up for the milestones, the everyday moments, and everything in between. If someone hasn’t been part of your life in years and doesn’t know your relationship, it’s okay to be intentional about who makes the list.

Your wedding day should feel personal, meaningful, and full of the energy that reflects your relationship. Think shared holidays, inside jokes, late night talks, and the people who’ve supported your love from the beginning.
