To everyone doing their best to build something on these beaches… this burn ban hurts.
Not just the fires.
Not just the bonfires.
It pauses birthdays. Family traditions. Proposals. Bachelorette parties. Sunset memories. Local jobs. Small businesses. Side hustles. Tips for workers. Vendors. Photographers. Musicians. Parents trying to provide.
For businesses like Glow & Flow, a beach bonfire is more than a setup in the sand. It’s people gathering together, putting phones down, laughing around a fire, and making memories they’ll talk about for years.
But more importantly — we understand why these bans exist.
The environment needs protecting. The forests, dunes, wildlife, and ecosystems that make this area beautiful need rain far more than we need business. Dry conditions affect everything around us, from the land itself to the people and animals depending on it.
So wherever your faith, hope, or beliefs come from — say a prayer, send good vibes, manifest it, dance for rain… whatever works. We’re hoping for steady, safe, consistent rain for the earth, the environment, the wildlife, the communities, and yes… for the local businesses trying to weather this tough season too.
Until then, we keep pushing forward, supporting local, respecting the ban, and hoping the next forecast finally brings the sound we all want to hear: thunder in the distance. 🌧️🔥
